EO Burton’s previous IT supplier wasn’t giving them enough attention. The arrangement was expensive without delivering real value, and when the pandemic hit they couldn’t operate remotely at all – their infrastructure was entirely on-premise, and they were still paying to maintain it.

What we did to help
We upgraded the computer systems and software across the business and migrated their users and corporate data to Microsoft 365. Security controls were put in place around their data with proper backups, and accounting was moved to the cloud.
With the yard sitting outside reliable fixed-line coverage, we also deployed Starlink satellite internet to keep the site properly connected.
